Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Bright Orchard Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field records. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
