Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Pike Auto Group is a Buffalo company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 885 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
