Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Birch Freight is a Buffalo logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
