Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Hollow Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Boston with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
