Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Drift Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Birmingham. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
