Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Birmingham, AL)

Nova Sparrow Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Birmingham focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. We invest in training. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
