Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Orchard Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
