Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood Lakeside Telecom is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for billing accounts. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
