Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Atlanta, GA)

Cedar Manufacturing Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for scrap and rework. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
