Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Redstone North Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for store inventory. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
