Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Granite Manufacturing and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
