Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Ember Press is a printer and publisher in Anchorage serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
