Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Anchorage, AK)

Summit Meridian Foods Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with sanitation schedules.
