Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Wichita, KS)

Summit Stone Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 154 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
