Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Rook Markets is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries.
