Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Ashton Inspection Services is an inspection company in Virginia Beach with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
