Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Birch Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
