Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Fox Manufacturing and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
