Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Savannah, GA)

Greenridge Umber Foods is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
