Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Savannah, GA)

Ironwood West Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Savannah. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
