Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Harbor Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in San Diego, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
