Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (San Antonio, TX)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Associates is an inspection company in San Antonio with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
