Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Pine Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Rochester, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms.
