Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Richmond, VA)

Nova Lakeside Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Richmond. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
