Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Reno, NV)

Fernwood Farms is an agricultural business based around Reno, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of about 918 people based in Reno. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms.
