Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Reno, NV)

Northwind Orchard Freight Group is a Reno logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Reno. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
