Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (remote)

Amberfield Umber Foods Group is a Savannah food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
