Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (remote)

Harborlight Hollow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near San Jose. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
