Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Granite Manufacturing Partners makes precision components in Providence, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
