Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bright Birch Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms.
