Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Pittsburgh, PA)

Rivermark Ridge Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for scrap and rework. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Knowledge of freight terms.
