Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
