Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Oak Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Oakland. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
