Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Drift Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Oakland, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
