Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Oakland, CA)

Rivermark Iron Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Oakland, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for parts orders. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
