Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Memphis, TN)

Fernwood River Markets is a Memphis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for store inventory. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
