Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Madison, WI)

Fernwood Loom Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Madison. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Madison. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
