Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Knoxville, TN)

Ironwood Rowan Foods Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
