Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Knoxville, TN)

Rivermark Ember Construction is a Knoxville contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
