Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Jackson, MS)

Bluepeak Meadow Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Jackson plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
