Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Oak Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of about 550 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
