Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Jackson, MS)

Clearpath Ivory Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Jackson. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
