Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Loom Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Houston, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of about 567 people based in Houston. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
