Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Sparrow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Houston, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
