Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Stone Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 817 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
