Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Clear Freight Partners is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
