Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Colorado Springs, CO)

Fernwood Rowan Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
