Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Cincinnati, OH)

Westbrook Pine Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Cincinnati plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
