Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Lakeside Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Buffalo, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
