Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Anchorage, AK)

Foxglove Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Anchorage, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
